About Dr. Poehlman

Dr. Poehlman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Maryland. Due to a low back injury playing professional baseball that was helped through chiropractic, he chose to pursue a chiropractic career. He went on to earn his Doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Chiropractic College in Minneapolis in 1986.

Dr. Poehlman constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of Chiropractic and related studies. He has always strengthened his understanding of diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders by reading research and attending post graduate seminars on such subjects as low back injuries and whiplash injuries. His love of chiropractic and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know him well.

Dr. Poehlman has given lectures to local groups on low back pain and neck pain. He has been recognized as an expert witness by many of the areas leading attorneys in the area of motor vehicle accidents.

Dr. Poehlman, his wife, susan, and their 3 children, Elliott, Madison, and Katelynn, reside in Ellicott City. They enjoy the beauty of the area,the culture, and all the recreational activities the region provides.
